‘STOP THE MAANGAMIZI!’ CAMPAIGN TEAMS UP WITH IMMIGRATION AMNESTY FOR AFRIKAN CARIBBEAN COMMONWEATH CITIZENS CAMPAIGNERS

Greetings Supporter/s of the ‘Stop the Maangamizi: We Charge Genocide/Ecocide!’ Campaign (SMWeCGEC)

We wanted to let you know that the SMWeCGEC is once again joining forces with other campaigns and campaigners to increase awareness and develop campaigning and organising strategies which include ‘Stop the Maangamizi!’ and reparatory justice dimensions to addressing the violations of Afrikan heritage communities human, peoples and Mother Earth rights.

One such campaign is that around amnesty for Afrikan Caribbean people who are being threatened with deportation. In this regard a petition has been started in Bristol by Green Party Cllr Cleo Lake and is supported by the Afrikan Connexions Consortium, Malcolm X Centre, Momentum Black Caucus, Greens of Colour UK and forms an element of the SMWeCGEC.

It is the view of the SMWeCGEC that “Preventing these deportations, implementing the immigration amnesty and allowing these people to stay and rightly benefit from the contributions made by themselves and their enslaved and colonised Ancestors to the building of Britain, is a necessary step toward Reparatory Justice!”

As of today, 14, 351 have signed the petition so far, please also read, sign and share the petition too:
